Cozy Family Home with tons of room and enjoy wilderness.
This is a home where you step outside and you are surrounded by nature. We have deer and Wild Turkey. Just a short walk away is the creek where you can watch many types of birds or see turtles bathing in the sun. In the summer you can fish, swim, canoe. Inside is a nice spacious house with three bedrooms. But you will not have so travel far for shopping and entertainment. This is a place where you can have the best of both worlds, all the nature and still get a pizza delivered to you.

Nice, well-equipped kitchen. My kids loved being able to play the Wii. Plenty of space for our family of 5.

The cozy cabin was a perfect size for my crew of 6. I gave it 4 stars because it was not as clean as I would like.

Perfect space for our needs! We loved being close enough to Palo Duro and Amarillo for easy day trips. The spacious living room gave us plenty of room and the kitchen was great for preparing most of our meals at home.

Our family of 5 planned a long weekend in Amarillo to visit Palo Duro Canyon and chose to stay here. We couldn't have been happier with the choice - the property was fantastic for our family. It had plenty of space both indoor and out to spread out and was well laid out for both family time and sleeping. I would highly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Amarillo who needs a few bedrooms for their family.

Me and my family loved staying at this place. We went for Christmas to stay away from all the city noise. Host was very nice and comprehensive on having some other family members go for a few hours as it was my mother's birthday.

Facilities were perfect for what we needed. Saw numerous dear during our stay. Close enough to Amarillo and Palo Duro for sightseeing but far enough away to see stars at night.

Loved the place! Front porch and outdoor area were great. Had lots of deer come visit and hang out. Only thing I will say is my sisters and I are old ladies so the stairs were alittle much for them but no one complained! Lol our host was a jewel and her family helped us get a lost dog home!

We traveled to Amarillo to hand off the kids for a visit with their grandparents in New Mexico. It was a lovely, restful place to spend a couple of nights. Loved seeing the deer! Hubby enjoyed the piano. The front porch was lovely, and the bedrooms were comfy!

This home was very cute and lots beds for everyone. I was under the impression it was on the water but it is a short walk (.4 miles) to reach a point where you can get to the water. It felt like I was living up in a treehouse, very fun get away.

Very nice home in a very quiet neighborhood that is close to all nearby attractions. Great central area to Palo Duro and Amarillo. Super easy to get to everything! Our family loved the many many different games available in the house. 😊

We really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We only had 2 complaints. The first is that in the listing, it shows water and a playground, but they are not actually close to the house. The water is actually across the street behind other properties and we never saw the playground. The other thing we had an issue with was that the heating system, while easy to operate, didn’t keep one of the bedrooms warm. It was cold enough to see your breath!

The host is amazing she answers questions fast and easy to reach. The house is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Inside its cozy and cool. The area has wildlife like just walk up to you. The outside area has lights so we played card games and made s'mores. We will definitely coming back next summer. Overall an amazing trip. Thank you 😊

Beautifully renovated interior of the home with all you need for your stay. Fully equipped kitchen was nice and washer and dryer were a plus. Home is in quiet neighborhood but outside of property is a bit run down in appearance. Felt a bit uneasy when we first drove up to property but overall is was a good place to stay if hiking in Palo Duro Canyon.

Overall it was good. The bedding & linens were nice. Roomy living area - big enough for our whole family. The sleeper sofa was ok. We brought our own air mattresses to use for 2 of our younger ones. The location was nice but the actual neighborhood was very sketchy. The ice maker did not dispense ice and the hot water in the large bathroom was not very hot. It would also be nice to have some directions for using the heater. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks .
