"The hotel was clean, but could do with refresh in places. Staff were friendly and professional. Although next to busy roads, soundproofing was very efficient and didn't notice the traffic. My wife found the bed a bit hard, I was fine, but it did make a lot of noise, even when just sitting on it. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. The location was ideal for our needs, a trip to The Deep and a bit of shopping. If visiting Hull again, I would have no problem booking into Cornmill again."

"I have stayed at the Earl many times over the decades. The staff haven't changed and i think this is an indication of how well the hotel is ran. The ladies on reception and breakfast are lovely. This time we had room 406, lovely big room overlooking carpark. Very quiet. Highly recommend "

The stay at forest pine hotel was spectacular and me and the wife managed to recharge our batteries and relax even better than planned. "Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent. The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut. Will stay again and try a cottage. "
