"This is the first time I’ve been back to Liberty in years, and it is still the same wonderful resort. The staff have been there for a long time, and are all lovely. Breakfasts are good. The gorgeous tropical gardens are amazing to walk through. The location is good, very easy to walk to all the dining options. 3 pools, so you could find sun or shade any time during the day. Our room was great too, loads of space and very well kept. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tulamben. "

You can dive only near the hotel, and this does not make sense, because the depth is small and a mask is enough. Mice run around the rooms looking for food,because the rooms are not clean enough. "It’s an older property now but still has a charm about it. The staff are wonderful. When I saw the earplugs in the room I had no idea what they’re for. It’s dogs … the place is crawling with them and they howl, bark and fight during the night. Do yourself a favour a stick the earplugs in before you go to sleep!! Amed beach could do everyone a favour and introduce compulsory desexing of the dogs. Would greatly improve it as a tourist destination "

"We were in the closest pool villa to reception. It is fantastic. Lovely rustic field. And the pool completely enclosed so you can swim happily all day. Food was excellent. Staff absolutely amazingly good. The place has been renovated back to life, but the area of sleep done fantastic and if you’ve got a pool villa, the rest of it doesn’t matter to you at all.
