this cottage is in a strategic position because it is inside a bigger property with other two cottages but this one is in the best place with only the sea in front and privacy guaranted. If you like to escape from coronavirus this is the perfect place ,not close to other peoplebut in a beautiful garden over the sea.The village center is only at 5 minute walk and there you can find restaurants, bars and little food shops. In the cottage there are 2 bedrooms a living with kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine and outside there is a corner with a shower and a washbasin so cosy in summer! in the living outside there is a table where you can eat or have breakfast with only the sea in front of you and two sun beds perfect for reading or sunbathing also in winter in sunny days.
The terrace is the perfect placebo catch upover a cup of coffee.
Montemarcello is one of the most beautuful villages of Italy (certified as one" Borghi più belli d'Italia").
The village is at 230 mt on the sea level and to reach the beach of Punta Corvo there is a trail in the wood with about 700 step to go, sure a long walk but when you arrive you are rewarded by clear water and beauty.
the property has a private parking inside but from the main road there is a narrow little road that is only 200 meters long so if you have a medium-big car is better if you leave it in the pubblic parking (that is free) and we can come to take you with the luggage with our car.
We provide all the linen , change is made once a week (if you want extra change it costs 40 euro)
Included in the price:

consumption of electricity, water and only in winter time gas is included up to 3mc. per day that is enough to have an inside temperature of 20 degrees. If you use more the cost is 1euro per mc.
We are dog friendly but we require that your dog had an anti-insect treatment
(against fleas and ticks ) 3 days before arrivaland this is not only for the hygiene of the house but also for your pet's wellbeing.

Bellissimo!
La casetta è molto carina e c’è una bella vista dal patio del mare. La cucina ha tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. Valeria è molto gentile. Lei faceva le prenotazioni ai ristoranti per noi. Ci piace ritornare lì! The small house was very lovely. There is a view of the sea from the patio. The kitchen has everything one needs. Valeria is very kind and helpful. She made reservations for us at restaurants. We would like to return some day.

Beautiful small house overlooking the sea
We have stayed at this house before. It is a small charming house, fully equipped and easy to stay in. There is a walk through a lane (only for small cars) to get to the house, but this is no problem at all for most people. In fact, we enjoyed the walk. And the owner, Valeria, will shuttle your luggage in and out. The house sits on a steep slope overlooking the entrance to the bay of La Spezia, and the view is spectacular. There is a large terrace overlooking the sea for sunning, or a glass of wine in the evening. There is also a large built-in grill available for those interested. The kitchen is good sized, well equipped and brightly designed. The photos in the announcement are very accurate. We have enjoyed our stay here both times very much and we will certainly be back again. Well recommended.

Beautiful Stay

A nice appartment in a lovely location
We stayed for a week in mid May 2018. The apartment was well situated for our planned visits to the Cinque Terre as well as the more local towns of Lerici, Sarzana, Carrara and La Spezia. The apartment has all the necessary requirements and has a lovely private location within the grounds of the owners villa. From the sun terrace you can look out across the broad expanse of the Gulf of Spezia. It is very quiet. Valeria was most welcoming and helpful before and during our stay. The very narrow road to the property could be an issue for larger cars re access but Valeria will meet you in the free car park in Montemarcello and take you and your luggage to the apartment. We left our hire car in the car park which was quite safe, it is only 5 minutes walk away. Montemarcello is a typical hill top village and has a restaurant, a bar and 2 small shops serving coffee and ice cream etc. It is in a quiet location and well located for day trips to Portofino, Lucca or Pisa. It is about 1 hour from Pisa Airport. This is one of the nicest properties and locations we have stayed at in Italy and Valeria could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

Over looking the Sea with Nothing to Block the View
Used the patio every day. Moved chairs to stay in the shade of small trees. Public parking lot is about 50 meters south of road into the property which is about 200 meters long and very narrow. You can park on the property but we needed to rotate the mirrors on our car in to make it in and decided to use the public parking lot the rest of our stay. There are about 15 outdoor steps you need to go down to get to the door of the rental. Second bedroom is also the sitting room. Kitchen is well equipped. Made day trips to Pisa, Lerici, and Cararra marble quarry.

A Charming Cottage by the Sea
We stayed in this charming cottage by the Ligurian sea for a winter week in February. It is one of three separate cottages situated on staggered terraces with incredible panoramic views of the sea. The other two cottages are not let out. The area around the cottage is comprised of terracotta and stone garden terraces and steps, all overlooking the entrance to the bay of La Spezia. The owner, Valeria, also operates a three room B&B at the top of the large property. The house is very nicely furnished and well equipped. The good size kitchen has Carrara marble counter-tops, as does the top on the dinning room table and the entire bathroom. The cottage was very clean, open and airy. The arrival was smooth and easy. Valeria is very friendly and helpful, and is a wealth of information regarding the local area, restaurants and sights. She even baked a apple cake for us that was waiting in the kitchen when we arrive. It was great and it vanished in a couple of days. She also had basic breakfast items and coffee already stocked in the kitchen. Much appreciated. Even though we were there in the winter and for hiking, this cottage would be a paradise in the summer, as you could enjoy the large terrace and outside eating area. Also worth mentioning is the built-in grill located on one terrace. We used it often during our stay. The location is in a small village, but there are many things to do just a short distance away. And if you hike it is perfect because several key hiking trail converge at Montemarcello, and even very near the house. We hiked to Tellaro and Punta Bianca directly from the house. In Montemarcello are several espresso bars and restaurants. But the village is missing a grocery store so you must drive a short way down the hill for groceries. Also as the house is located out at the seaside edge of the village and there is only a very small road reaching it from the center of the village. Only for small cars, but we made it in and out in our Volvo V50. But it was a challenge. However, Valeria offered to shuttle the luggage if necessary in her car to and from the free parking area not far way. We will definitely return to this cottage and have already recommended it to our friends. We may even make it an annual stay we were so happy there.

Wir hatten zwar einige Regentage aber dennoch eine sehr schöne Zeit hier. Die Gegend ermöglicht kleine Wanderungen und Ausflüge fernab vom Cinque-Terre-Touristentrubel. Der Ausblick aus der Wohnung ist atemberaubend zu jeder Tageszeit! Ein echter Geheimtipp!

Wunderbare Frühlingswoche
Das Haus liegt oberhalb des Meeres in dem süßen Ort Montemarcello. Perfekt geeignet für einen ruhigen Urlaub zu zweit! Der weite Blick über Meer und Hügel ist perfekt. Das Haus ist abgeschieden in einem privaten Garten. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren. Cinque Terre nicht weit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholung pur
Schönes, sauberes Haus mit guter Einrichtung und wunderschöner Aussicht auf das ligurische Meer. Alles bestens und wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem zu Fuss einiges erkunden möchte ist hier richtig. Zu beachten ist, dass wirklich nur sehr kleine Autos zum Haus fahren können.

Haben eine sehr schön Woche in einer Traumlage verbracht. Die Wohnung war sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Etwas schwer zu finden aber Valeria hat alles gut erklärt und somit hat alles gut geklappt. Würden gerne mal wieder hin.

Traumhafte Lage mit unbeschreiblicher aussicht
Außergewöhnliche Lage direkt an der Steilküste mit Terrasse über dem Meer. So etwas habe ich noch nie bewohnt! Appartement absolut sauber, alles notwendige vorhanden. Schlafzimmer mit nur kleinem Fenster nach hinten in den Hügel ausgerichtet, etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig bei der ansonsten so herrlich hellen Wohnung. Bei Belegung über 2 Personen fällt das Wohnzimmer leider dem Schlafsofa zum Opfer. Keine deutschsprachigen Fernsehsender, sehr gutes WLAN. Schön wäre statt des Duschvorhangs, der immer an den Beinen klebt, eine feste Türe. Essensempfehlung: Trattoria Dai Pironcelli im Ort !! Sehr schöne Zeit dort verlebt! Absolut wiederholungswürdig!
