"All straightforward for fetching key and making our way to the apartment. Instructions were clear even though at times it felt a bit like searching for a mystery destination! From the moment we opened the apartment door any apprehension disappeared. The views are stunning - I will never forget watching the sun rise across the lake, and the apartment itself was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. You definitely need a car as there is little to do in the local area and ferries only...

"The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. (We used our beach towels and scarves instead). All instructions were in German so the pages of information sent was unreadable to us. We asked for English instructions...

"Such a perfect spot to land after our flight from the US to Milan. Miranda made us feel so welcome! Our son slept on the main floor, we slept upstairs. Perfect small european kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Lovely restaurant cafe in this charming small town. We even came back for a few days' stay later during our trip, did our laundry, hung to dry on Miranda's clothesline. Really such perfect and unique spot!!"

"We had a lovely 4 day stay in Pella in early October at the end of our 2 week Italian tour. We'd had a busy time and Pella was just the perfect ending to our trip. "The photos on the website were absolutely spot on! The apartment was light and bright. Self check in was easy and exactly as described. The situation above Lago Maggiore was breathtaking and even in the rain the view was ever changing. Out of season the local restaurants were not open but a new supermarket in Stresa with a carpark was good for shopping and the apartment was well equipped for cooking. A handy tip - if the hire car company offers to upgrade to a bigger car, turn them down...

"Die Wohnung ist schön, geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, alles funktioniert. Auf dem kleinen Balkon kann man nur zu zweit sitzen.. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super- man ist in wenigen Schritten im Zentrum, am See und vor allem an der Schiffsanlegestelle. Alle Geschäfte, auch ein Supermarkt sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sich nebenan eine „Birreria“ befindet, in der (außer sonntags) bis spät in die Nacht gefeiert wurde....
