"The pods are very clean and tidy, nicely secluded within the forest, the whole site is well maintained with good facilities. The coffee and takeaway area was lovely to sit at near the pool, meals in the restaurant were also very good. Good base for cycling around with plenty of tracks and trails, excellent for the celebrations on Ginkel Heath. Would definitely stay again. "

"The place is lovely, but beware of Belvilla. I meant to book through Vrbo but had trouble with my American credit card so went through Belvilla instead. Huge mistake. I ended up accidentally booking multiple units, which were cancelled except for 2. Despite repeated attempts with multiple representatives they would not cancel the other one so I ended up with 2. Apartment was clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies. Amsterdam and the airport are but a short train ride away. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. Bike riding is a real thing here and it is lovely to people watch just going about their day on the bicycles. Also the largest bike park is next to the hotel.
