We loved staying at B&B Milkhouse. It was the perfect location to walk to everything, and Eline was very helpful with recommendations and making sure the room was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam, the room had everything we could have asked for and it was so lovely to be right on the canal in one of the nicest areas!

Loved staying here. Beautiful setting on the canal. Loved amsterdam. Eline (owner) was like an instant friend. She took good care of me and my wife. Staying here was one of the best parts of our fantastic trip.

A real gem in the heart of Amsterdam. Close enough to all of the cities highlights, yet on a peaceful, quiet street so you are not disturbed. Eline is a fabulous host - she is so friendly and helpful. Every home comfort you can imagine, all complimentary.

Erik and Eline were fantastic hosts. The unit is quaint and beautifully decorated. Location is on the longest canal and very convenient to everything. When we return to Amsterdam, we will surely stay here again ♥️✈️

Property was in a lovely canal front location, close to everything, but relatively quiet. Nicely designed suite with lots of lovely small touches. Excellent bed, with nice little sitting area. Eline is a perfect host. She welcomed us early on the day after King’s day. Her place is in a good location to many attractions. The home was very clean with a very comfortable bed and a large modern shower. An additional bonus was the snacks and drinks to take on our outings or enjoy when we ended our day. Thank you for making our first trip to Amsterdam wonderful.

We stayed in Amsterdam for 3 nights before a cruise. The Milkhouse B&B was chosen based on the ratings we had seen. It did not disappoint. Eline is the hostess. She is limited to how many rooms she can host but she gives her full attention, not only to our comfort, but specifically to us. I have never had a better stay at a B&B. The location was walkable to many of the best sights in the city. Good restaurants, museums, shopping, canal trips, they are all right there.

A fantastic stay in Amsterdam at the Milkhouse B&B. Perfect location and lovely room with everything we needed for a long weekend. The host, Eline, was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had what we needed and enjoyed ourselves. The space itself is thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable (especially the bed!) and there are little useful and thoughtful touches everywhere. We would stay here again and would highly recommend!

The host Eline was very helpful with pre-visit suggestions and directions and takes pride in running a comfortable and clean establishment. She also provided a well stocked refrigerator with wine and beer and snacks at no additional charge. It’s also very close to public transportation shopping. We would certainly recommend this place to others. 😉

Loved this place, Location could not have been better. Ilene was on top of everything and a delightful person as well. A stocked fridge and snacks were just a couple of the of the extra touches she provided. Definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of the city.

Fantastic location. Enormous bed and everything that you need. Mini bar was restocked every day and the hosts had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and cafes and places we just had to visit. Light switches once you had mastered the weird dimmers worked a treat. Thank you.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Milkhouse and our host Eline. It was a very easy journey from Schipol (just a 30 minute bus ride & 10 minute walk). Eline greeted us & showed us around the beautiful Milkhouse. The bed is very very comfortable, the shower fabulous and all the amenities you could possibly want are available. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Staying at the Milkhouse means you are close to all the sights which are easily walkable to. An absolutely perfect stay & a wonderful experience.

This is the best B&B experience that I have ever had. The hosts are amazing. Make dinner reservations, rescheduled our canal trip when our train from Paris was delayed, make excursion and shopping suggestions. Anything you need they will assist with. The apartment is bright even though in the basement. The location couldn’t be more central to all of the Amsterdam activities. Next trip we will be staying with them again!

We were in Amsterdam for two days before a cruise. Our stay here was amazing. Elin text us as soon as our room was ready which was amazing as we were jet lagged. The room was beautiful and clean as could be. The location could not be beat. So close to everything and right on the canal. When are prearranged ride did not show up Elin stepped in and was able to communicate with the taxi company to fix things and was even ready to drive us to the pier herself.

Beautifully appointed room, with many elegant and thoughtful touches. Spacious shower with lovely toiletries. Very comfortable bed. Generous mini-bar. Fantastic range of books and resources about Amsterdam and some of the local attractions. Eline is an amazing host - very friendly and welcoming, and generous with advice and information. She exceeded our expectations in terms of considering our comfort and convenience: so very thoughtful. The location is fantastic. Quiet, safe, close to transport, and easy walking to museums, galleries, shops, restaurants etc.

A beautifully restored building with tonnes of character. Elaine and Erik were wonderful hosts and assisted us whenever we needed. The property was beautiful. It has the best (and biggest) bed I've ever slept in and they left us treats everyday, including wine and chocolates- they even wrote a card to greet us for our anniversary. When we arrived late due to flight delays, Elaine happily met us to show us the room and give us our keys. It was a gorgeous stay, with excellent locality to restaurants, bars and coffee shops, as well as museums and landmarks. Situated next to the old town, and with a beautiful view of the canal. Great stay! Close to everything but quiet at night. Room was very well appointed with large comfortable bed and very nice bathroom with a true rain shower. Mini bar and snacks included and restocked daily. Breakfast is included and provided at a nearby bistro. Impeccable housekeeping daily, 5 star quality. Well sound proofed and heated for our November stay. Owner lives upstairs separately. For reference I’ve stayed at Ritz-Carlton and similar properties. Attentive host provided detailed transit alternatives to reach property. Thank you Eline for your help arranging medical care due to my small emergency. Highly recommend. Couple from California.

ElIne, the owner was incredibly good, giving us travel guidance before we arrived and providing us with lots of local advice about the best places to visit and eat. Breakfast was at a local cafe about 150 yards away and was good, bagels with omelette or BLT with coffee and juice ticked the boxes for me or many other bagel options for those with other tastes. The location of the property was fantastic by the canals with major attractions within 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes tram ride away. The Rijktmuseum, Van Gogh and Anne Frank well worth a visit but be sure to book in advance. ElIne recommended a brilliant steakhouse, Castell where we enjoyed 2 great meals. The Italian restaurant 50 metres away was good too for lighter meals. We were lucky to have a few sunny days for canal trips and a walk around Vondelpark. Bikes everywhere of course. A great place to stay to experience Amsterdam. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Not a place to spend the day in but we were here to explore the city. Super comfortable giant bed.
