"We had a wonderful stay at The Ocean. We stayed for 3 nights in a Villa, 4 adults and one 1.5 yo baby. The Villa was well equipped and very comfortable. The master bedroom with a large bathroom and bathtub was great. The open concept living space was convenient, and well lit. "We stayed 2 couples for a week. The resort is beautiful set on the ocean unfortunately it was a rainy cool week but we enjoyed the pool, walks all around. The beds were super comfy great pillows!! The breakfast was good fresh juice cooked to order eggs or omelette as well as many Vietnamese options. The staff were amazing always trying their best. Only issue for us was ice lack of ice! but they tried to always find some for us. It was slow season so very quiet which was fine for us. We recommend...

"This was an interesting property with some nicely designed interior features and run by a lovely family who tried very hard to please. However, it was not a bilingual property as advertised and that was frustrating at times.I found the kitchen poorly equipped and had to supply some of my own utensils. There was no microwave as advertised and the washing machine had Chinese only instructions.Attention to these small details could make a big difference to someone's stay."

"The pool, gym and restaurant have been closed since September 2024 but was never mentioned in the reservation. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known this. Even now it’s still advertised showing that these amenities are available at the hotel and it’s not. "

"Awesome place and highly recommended. Beautiful rooms at prime location. HOWEVER, communication at front desk was not only challenging because of the language barrier, but I reserved 7 rooms for my biker group and they charged my card and we also paid cash for the rooms upon leaving. They said my card would not be charged, however that was false. Had to go thru Expedia for refunds. Double check your charges before you leave l, I assumed pending would fall off, but it didn’t. "

"The location of the complex is very centralized been a short walk to the beach and in close proximity of various restaurants both the sea foods ones and more traditional Vietnamese cosine. Staff were helpful and the actual unit was very big being a 2 bedroom. The beach was a very short distance from the hotel and very clean with a lot of the usual street vendors with all types of foods and drinks. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Ocean. We stayed for 3 nights in a Villa, 4 adults and one 1.5 yo baby. The Villa was well equipped and very comfortable. The resort is new with excellent gym, large clean beautiful pool and play room for kids. There is only one restaurant, on the Maia Resort ground (neighbour). The menu was diverse with specialties every night (steak, chicken, Vietnamese...) and serves fresh and delicious food. One downside is that there is no other option for restaurant on the resort or walking distance, so be prepared to pay quiet a hefty price for food. We used the spa, it was fantastic, 4-hand massage and bamboo stick massage. Also quite expensive but very good service and serene environment. The beach is beautiful and very few people. It was rough weather, double red flag, so no swimming but beautiful for walks. Overall we loved this resort, the staff really is wonderful and made our stay great. We hope to be back. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The family room was perfect and offered plenty of space for our family of four. We especially loved that there were two bathrooms. The rooms are beautiful and very reasonably priced. The rooftop pool was a major highlight with incredible views of the city and beach. It’s an easy walk to the beach and there are numerous restaurants near the hotel. We would love to stay here again in the future."
