"The hostel is placed in the heart of Akamasoa, the town within the city of Antananarivo, which has Père Pedro Opeka created from nothing. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very clean, big and comfortable. We felt very welcome with them and despite it costs a little bit more than other accomodations in Tana, it was well worth it. And it is all for the good cause, as the income goes to the organization of Père Pedro. "

Det ligger 5 min med bil från flygplatsen men det är så långt man kan komma från ett flygplatshotell - det var mycket mer genuint och fint. De ordnar kostnadsfri transfer till och från flygplatsen. "Enjoyed my month-long stay and the hospitality of the hotel staff. This hotel is an oasis in a poor, but still safe neighborhood. It looks rough, but I walked around with no problems. It does take about an hour to get into Tana though due to bad roads/traffic, but only 10 min from the airport."

"The receptionist was friendly. The bed was uncomfortable. I didn't use either of the bed pillows because they both were very thick and hard and I estimated that each weighed about 2 kilos. Winter blankets were on the bed. Breakfast was good but I had to ask for missing items. The location is indeed walking distance from the airport."
