There was no reception and only my name on a board to tell me which apartment I was in. The room had a well stocked kitchen but had no bedding. "I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!"

No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."

"Property was full and not enough close parking. The beds were really uncomfortable. I think that for the high price we’ve paid the conditions could be better. The lady in the reception was adorable, the bedsheets and towels were exceptionally clean. It was only 3 minutes away (car) from downtown and the telecabine. "We stayed in an apartment. I loved the property and its relaxed feel and location. Some lovely walks are available close by. The reception staff spoke good English and were very polite and helpful. They are very spacious, warm and clean, but very self contained. The bed was comfortable but pillow choice was limited. Kitchen was nice with 2 hot plates, no oven or frying pan. There is a dishwasher but no washing machine. Unfortunately the WiFi was not working and was not fixed during our stay. Excellent self parking and it was easy to get a good night sleep here. "

"The impression on the initial entry into the building is ok but each step further in the building got worse and worse. We were there to watch the Tour de France so the location was excellent for that, but everything else was AWFUL. No sheets available on the filthy beds, no bath towels just 2 disgusting kitchen towels that were stained so badly it was hard to tell if they had been cleaned. Keep looking elsewhere because this place is not good."
