My wife's French toast was cold and my fried egg was frazzled, definitely the worst fried egg in Ireland. The egg makes the fry. Booked a table for 7pm Saturday evening. Arrived at 6.50 and we were told to wait outside in a side room until 7 even though the restaurant was empty at the time. Not even an offer to provide us with a drink while we waited. "We stayed in an upstairs stable room, the room was lovely, beautifully decorated and the bathroom was fab, shower was very powerful and a nice deep freestanding bath. Only complaint was the unbearable heat of the room. Every radiator was scalding hot and there didnt seem to be any way to turn them down or off. The light switch panels also didnt seem to do much, took a lot of button pressing just to get the lights to turn off. "

"Stayed 1 night for business in an Exec room number 209. The room is large and nice, it's nothing special and starting to show it's age a little, you can tell it's an accountant designed room rather than an aesthetic one, but it's more than fine, no power points by the bed is very bad though. The hotel itself is all perfectly acceptable, clean but some fixtures and fittings showing their age with cracked tiles in the lobby.
