"We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "

"It was a nice room. I thought I booked a canal view but it was street view. The room had some smell once I got inside. But then after I kept the balcony door open for a bit, it was gone and no more smell in the evening. The location is very central. So, I didn’t use any means of transportation, as I walked everywhere. They offer free tea/coffee at the dining area on the GF level. It’s a small boutique hotel. There’s no lift, so, accessibility may be an issue. I’d recommend this hotel. "

"This is good hotel, a bit off the beaten path in terms of the old village and the lake but both about a mile away. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nothing fancy - just a nice place to spend the night after sightseeing all day. The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you out. I rented a a great e-bike from the hotel at a good price with none of the lines and hassles of renting them on the lakefront or in the village....

"Anncey is an beautiful place. This hotel is located in a convienent location, not far from the train station, shops and the lake. It is a was a little expensive, there is better value in Anncey. The hotel was clean, staff very helpful, but the decoration was a bit dated."
