"The Residhome Lyon Gerland had large one bedroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We faced the inner courtyard and the room was quiet. There are cafes and a grocery store across the street. Subway is right outside hotel. Good value."

"Check in was a little bumpy. We were 4 single women in two rooms requesting single beds. They gave us 2 rooms with one bed and then we had a difficult time getting different rooms. They do not provide room service unless your stay is longer than 3 nights but they also didn’t provide extra coffee or toilet paper on request. "

"The front desk is not 24/7. We arrived at 7pm and we have had to self check-in through a machine. The description of hotel mention it has a SPA as our benefit, but we did not find that and had no one to ask for. Note: they charge addition fee for after hour call."

I was accommodated in a spacious 2-bed studio equipped with an electric hob, fridge, and microwave. The service and cleanliness were excellent, which made my stay comfortable. "Had a nice stay at Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu with a comfortable bed but pleased I brought my own pillow - as the pillows offered were way too thick. The staff is friendly and welcoming but needed help to connect to their WI-FI, which didn't work very well. Please also be aware that it takes around 40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the City Centre. I don't mind walking so for me it was easy - but just in case you have walking issues."

"Excellent hotel, with a stunning ground floor entrance/reception. Rooms and hallway a little tired, but it didn’t detract from the stay. If you get a family bedroom make sure you got a proper shower - ours was one over a bath without a shower curtain so it wasn’t the easiest to shower in without water going everywhere. Would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Lyon."
