"Hotel was nice, breakfast was very good, especially hash browns. There is a big retail park just across the street. Convenient stay. Visiting nearby Lough Neagh requires either a long walk or some form of transportation."

"A lovely house to stay in but although it has everything you need, don't expect it to be super-lux and modern. However this is reflected in the very good value price. Robin Walker was a very good host and helped in any ways that were needed."

On the green shores of Lough Neagh, the biggest lake by area in the British Isles, sits Massereene Golf Club, formed in 1895 and proud owner of what without question is one of Northern Ireland’s best parkland courses. Legend has it that the lough was formed when the giant Finn MacCool tossed a sod of earth at a Scottish foe (the boulder became the Isle of Man).
