Aqua Natura is a large and popular water park, with an artificial beach and twirling slides, outside Benidorm. The site is split into a few sections, including a children’s pool, a water slide area and a lighthouse breakwater. Sunbathe on the deck chairs lining the sandy strand and order drinks from the bars and cafés.
Watch your kids ride rubber rafts through the maze-like slides, before splashing into the water. Among the most thrilling rides is La Cresta, which the park claims to be the world’s only water attraction that lets you experience zero gravity. Zigzag around the Aqua Snake and leap into the Black Hole. The little ones will love riding with parents on the Eye of the Cyclades.
Swim in the Zorba Beach pool and rest near the small artificial islets with tall palm trees and fountains. Waterfalls, geysers and rocks enclose the large pool. Relax in the tranquil spa area. Umbrellas and sunbeds line the beach, where you can sunbathe while your kids frolic in the water.
Purchase pizza, sandwiches and ice cream from the Ice Corner restaurant or get lunch from the terrace of Mediterranean’s Reef Restaurant. Head to the Terra Natura complex next door for its zoo filled with animals from four different regions.
Get a pass online or from the park’s ticket office, making sure to ask for discounts for kids and seniors. Toddlers can enter for free. The site opens daily from morning until early evening May through October.
Find Aqua Natura in the northern outskirts of Benidorm. Drive north from the town center for 10 minutes to get here. Pay to leave your car in the parking lot. You can also take a bus to La Nucia stop in the Urb. Coblanca district, followed by a taxi to the park. Spend another day in a visit to the nearby Terra Mítica amusement park.
