Only negative was that the room was so hot, and there didn't seem to be any way of controlling it. My room looked out on to an inner courtyard so not a lot of natural light coming in. "Very difficult for parking but not only this property sinceはは it's in central. We stayed with kids and mini dog for 9 nights and loved their interior and enough space to feel comfortable. "We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. "The apartment was easy to find near the Black Church. Parking not so easy on a Saturday, but we were able to unload right outside the apt so it was an easy walk back. The studio is fairly basic but more than adequate for a couple of nights. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in old town. Communication by WhatsApp was easy and prompt."

"On arrival the restaurant was closed and upon asking the receptionist o was told there is no restaurant near by . The room was never cleaned and dirty towel was put back on the rail. "This is a wonderful house, thought out to the smallest detail for the comfort of each of the guests, with a pleasant atmosphere and good aura, fabulous nature, especially when it’s snowing! Very very hospitable hosts! All attractions are close if you are by car - Dracula's Castle, the Castle of the Peles Kings, ski resorts and the city of Brasov itself is very fabulous! "Place was clean and located close to everything. Restaurants directly below are delicious. Parking is far but it’s like that everywhere. There is no air con but the owner provided a fan which was very appreciated. We enjoyed our stay."

"This is an elegant old hotel. The rooms were a little dated, but they were clean. There was no laundry facilities (even though it’s listed). The pool and spa area are fantastic!! "We travelled from USA spent a night here cause it got dark and we found this place on our way to Cluj but we enjoyed it to the fullest. Plus the breakfast was absolutely outstanding with choice for coffee (capucino or expresso) literally impressed with the choices for breakfast. Highly recommended 👏👏👏"

"I actually arrived a day before I had booked my reservation and Eszter was kind and helpful and got me in a day early! There was a private balcony that overlooks the Black Cathedral that I had all to myself and enjoyed a cup of hot tea complimentary included with the room. Very good location and multiple breakfast options from two easy to get to locations. I ate at the restaurant directly below my room which has vegetarian options too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to a solo traveler or anyone looking for an authentic hotel in a perfect location, safe, friendly and clean. "

"I loved it here, had a lifestyle suite which was brilliant. Everything was really really great, the staff so kind and attentive and the food wasbrilliiant too.
