"We were very comfortable at Palazzo Bellocchi. Everything about the room and location was perfect. The breakfast that was included was hearty, as well. My one note is that I only realized that we needed to go to Hotel Orientale to pick up the keys because I read it in a review. That information may have been in a communication, but I hadn't noticed it. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Overall the property is good and in nice location. If you just want to have a bed and shower, do your washing this will do nicely. It’s 10 min walk from train station and port. You have three supermarkets, bakery and farmers market within 5-10 min walk. Main Street with local restaurants is also 5 mins away. Otherwise, you it is Extremely hard to find any taxis. Someone had to call 6 taxi companies before anyone responded and then they still didn't show up. My 80 year old mom and I had to hitch hike from the port."

"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....

"I love tobacco suites and will stay there every time I'm in southern Italy. The staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms a beautiful and the whole place is just very unique. They don't sell their story enough about it really being converted from an old tobacco factor so it's not just a theme but you have history there too. Highly recommended. My friend had to move to another local spot for few days because this was booked and she missed the fresh breakfast and warmth of the tobacco suites....
