"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"They wrote at the last second to say that something was wrong with the perperty and that they booked us a room at the b&b Room 22. What was I going to say? I was already on the way. Then at Room 22, there was only one little window that face a courtyard and the shower was so small you couldn’t even turn around. The room itself was clean and the toilet worked if you tapped on it feom time to time. Overall, not what I was expecting or paid for."

"Parking was a big issue. There were no spots for the hotel and the closest spot we could find was three blocks away. There were no signs as to parking and no meters, so we wound up with a ticket. "To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues...

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"Everything was fine at the beginning. TIt's a working residential/commercial area with a large covered market opposite. closed when we arrrived, but I guesss busy and noisy when open. getting in is a hassle for those not used to smart phones, downloading apps swiping, pin codes and so on. Definitely not for digital immigrants. the place is really nicely done out A lot of trouble has gone into it. 2 big problems (for us). First I was under the impression that B&B meant breakfast of some sort....
