"It is an old property and needs an update. it was built in the 1600s. however, it seems like the intent was to create an "old time Spain" effect. It's not completed, still has construction for the courtyard. The manager was helpful, very kind, and always responded to our requests. The cafe offered a nice breakfast and was nicely presented. "We would definitely stay here again. We found most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate. If you have a small enough car, you can drive to apartment, but it is not for the faint of heart. Otherwise it’s a simple 5 min walk (or less). The pool and the views were amazing. We found the town to be very nice without a lot of visitor traffic but good food and a few small stores. Nice mirador worth the 20 min walk. We did it for sunrise. The care taker was VERY helpful and responsive. "

Relaxing stay on top of a clliff

"We used the free car park outside the town and walked up to the Hotel. no issues at all and gave us the opportunity to get our bearings. the Hotel is sited in the village square. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and big overlooking the square. with the wooden shutters we had no issues with noise from the church bells. The breakfast was extensive and we could also order. cooked omelette and eggs. We had a drink before dinner overlooking the plains and mountains breathtaking. we choose to eat in the hotel and weren’t disappointed- we had a tomato soup and pasta dish to start( which could have served as a main) followed by veal tail and venison which were both equally delicious. we would certainly book again. "
