"We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round ."

"Lovely host, great caravan park with excellent staff and the pool had a Slide, was clean, polite lifeguards and even inflatables… My kids love a caravan, weve stayed at many parks and I didn’t know much about Felixstowe holiday park until I booked there last minute… It was great… shop within a couple of minutes outside of the park, amusements within and outside the park, beach, viewing point to see the ships etc. highly recommend. "Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it...

"Fab place. I’ve stayed a few times and it’s always good quality. Staff went above and beyond this visit. Gym was excellent with good quality air con. My room was nice & comfy. I did 3 classes during my stay, all classes were of high quality. I had an evening meal & breakfast, again good quality. I sat out on the veranda overlooking the golf course. I also used the sauna during my visit which was one of the hottest I’ve been in! Top notch! Well done The Essex"

Business trip would definitely stay again.

"This was a business trip, I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the air conditioning. During my stay they were having extensive building works carried out but I have to say it was seamless for me. I heard no noise whatsoever as it was all done whilst I was at work. The only issue was there were less car parking spaces but the work men were very accommodating as well. I literally went out one day and came back and the old restaurant had been blocked off and a new one opened. The staff were even really kind in helping me enquire about some pictures I had been admiring on the wall in the morning! All the staff were really helpful and kind and at one point a huge bus party of European tourists arrived, one member of staff was trying to sort out access and she did it so patiently making sure everyone's needs were met. I'm sure that the disruptions were difficult for the staff but it did not affect me at all. There is a lovely outside space where you can sit by the river and have a drink or a bite to eat, the Korean Chicken bites were to die for I had them three nights running. I would definitely stay here again. I am looking forward to seeing it all finished."
