"Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you."

"Our 3rd year running now at this property and it never fails to satisfy. The location, the open plan nature of the house, the faclities provided are all perfect for us. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"This renovated cottage would be best for a family rather than elder adults. We found the stairs daunting and the tub unsafe climbing in and out. All the furnishings are adequate , some updating to the lounge furniture, beds, pillows would certainly enhance the stay. Access to the closet in the second bedroom would help. The one call to the manager was never returned. Once we found our way in, the quiet, peaceful setting was greatly appreciated. "

"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"
