Location is fantastic - very easy access to town using the free train or a 15-20 minute walk. All staff were lovely and helpful. Great breakfast. Only downside is that the rooms are dated but given what we paid for the room we would definitely stay again. Bathtub and sauna a big plus!

Fjällgården is an amazing hotel in Åre with the best location possible in the middle of the slope - full ski-in/ski-out, but also accessible by car, taxi or the legendary Åre funicular. Many of the rooms have great views of the mountain and the valley and if you then ad one of the best after-skis, nice classic alpine cuisine and a very cozy atmosphere overall this is the perfect mountain lodging in Åre!

Perfect for skiing and great after ski. After ski closes by 6pm. Sauna and Hot tub is a great way to relax after a day in the slopes. Funicular goes from hotel to town every 20min.

No help with carrying luggage up and down. The bonus was the nice girls handling the reception. The night staff seemingly non trained though without having knowledge of customerserbice when arriving late. Probably summer staff.

Perfekt beliggenhed og lækre faciliteter. Man skal dog være klar på at hotellet omdannes til afterskisted fra kl 15-17, hvor der kommer 300 glade drikfældige gæster og spilles meget høj musik. Det kan være svært at komme igennem masserne, hvis man kommer hjem i samme periode. Parkering tilgængelig, men op til 600 m ned af bjerget.
