Our room had amazing views of the surrounding town, the breakfast had fantastic coffee and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries. "Fantastic place! The grounds were breathtaking, very nice to wake up to such nice surroundings. Our room was amazing, we had a crib waiting for us since we came with a baby! also had a mini fridge in our room which was perfect for his food! Breakfast was delicious! "It was great experience with this property. Coming quite late it was difficult to find. As we arrived we were offered dinner for reasonable price and since we did not feel going back to town we accepted. Oh my God, that turned out really special dinner next to fire place in rustic surrounding, with three course plentiful, tasty meal and cake and their wine included. We felt like kings. In the morning we strolled along beautiful property. Rooms are very clean and cosy, rustic and beautiful....

"Nice ancient residence, lots of antique furniture & ambience, quiet w/comfy bed. Bathroom needed attention so shower wand fits wall & doesnt crash into the bath tub if moved & need a tub plug. Would be nice to add small lotion with bath soap to make this a more kuxurious stay. And the ancient door was VERY difficuot to lock in and out. Not good fire risk but you could knock the doo down if nec. Must make reservation for fabulous lake side dinner. Stroll down Viale Nicola Colesanti to lake side...

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!.
