Really enjoyed the whole experience at Vanilla Garden. The Vanilla Suite was well worth the money and all of the staff were super friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good also

Lovely smaller hotel. Staff was excellent, breakfast was fine. The pool area was great. Only complaint was the ac in the rooms wasn’t excellent- it would shut off multiple times during the night, but overall was a great stay and would stay again

Lovely hotel

We had a lovely stay the room was amazing we got upgraded to a suit which was lovely. The big downfall was not being told about the building work behind the hotel this was so load and you constantly heard the banging whilst round the pool. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay

Really nice hotel. It's so well kept always saw cleaners about keeping the place tidy. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of choice. They do nice cocktails. Staff very polite and helpful with all our needs. Hotels in good location quiet at night considering bars are in walking distance. Would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Tenerife.

Fantastic little hotel

We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back again. The Hotel is lovely, well situated and spotless. Being adult only was a big advantage as was always peaceful. The pool is great and the food is good. Staff are very friendly. We ate at the hotel a few times and enjoyed everything we had.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time at Vanilla Garden. Right from the welcome drink to the checkout where they arranged transfer to the airport, we felt very well looked after. The buffet style breakfast and dinner for the half board was excellent value for money and of a great standard. Above all the staff were tremendous and really made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay again.

Greeted with a choice of Simosa or white wine. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would recommend, the room was nice. They had a singer who would perform old school songs. The breakfast was cooked well, close to shopping areas and dining.

Friendly hotel

Like a peaceful bubble surrounded by tourist areas. A friendly and nice hotel. We were glad we had breakfast and dinner included, the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent. Our room had everything we needed and the pool area was nice though could be difficult to find a place because the hotel seemed to be fully booked. Isn’t that good after the pandemic? We enjoyed staying here and would love to go back.

We booked a suite with a hot tub and two balconies, which was great. Lovely hotel with buffet breakfast . More than meets your needs. The buffet dinner was as good with plenty of offer. All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and most helpful. The room was spotless and could find no faults. Very central location. Close to beaches , restaurants and bars. Within about 4 km you have top brand name shops.

An oasis.

Stayed here for one week in room 418. Excellent ground floor room with massive, comfortable double bed. Small tiled private terrace with table and two chairs, also a garden area with two sun-loungers. Every member of staff were courteous and professional. If there is one very small negative, we were slightly disappointed in the choice of food. However, everything else about this hotel is of the highest quality, including the laid back evening entertainment.

Everything was great, except for the amount of noise between rooms and from the outside. Sure, everybody’s there to have a good time. Zero complains about people making joyful noise. But the room’s isolation is next to nothing, so don’t go there expecting to close the door and make the world go away. The world is still quite audible. For a 4-star hotel, I was expecting far better isolation, but hey, whatever. We still had a great time, and the location is excellent.

Expensive week away

Went with such high expectations for the price of this hotel but didn’t live up to my thoughts , too far from beach , not enough sun round the pool lots shaded bits , food average, comfortable bed but hard pillows, no atmosphere at bar, and I would always check charges lots mix ups on room charge , also get charged to change pool towels !! The gala dinner was disappointing maybe it’s my taste but 3 out 4 of us agreed wasn’t great ! So sorry won’t return

Vanilla garden OK but not great value for money

Location of the hotel is good if you like this kind of mass tourism resort. The place is more like blackpool with sun than tenerife. The hotel is rather small which in my opinion is great as I dont like massive resort type hotels. The common areas are quite nice but rooms are a bit dated. Bedsheets / Towels are old and worn. Some basics like tissue box on night stands were not offered.The next door hotel was doing renovation works which cannot be avoided but it was quite disruptive especially early mornings. No lift which is OK for low ruse but take it into account when you ll need to drag your luggage up. Food wise typical buffet with daily variation but dont expect typical or high quality cuisine. Staff is very hard working and super friendly. All in all bot great value for money (at least not when we went beginning of january). Adult only was quite good no kids running or screaming around. We stayed in 5***** for that rate but then npt in Jan and not south Tenerife.

Nice Hotel

Let me start by saying that our welcome to the hotel was excellent for our 7 day stay. We were greeted by the friendliest lady. I didn't get her name, but she made our welcome amazing. Long blonde hair originally from Belgium. She greeted us with a glass of Prosecco. A big shout out to Rafu who made every morning he worked a great start to the day. The cleaning people were also amazing, so thank you. Pros: location was easy to get to, and situated by grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The property is maintained very well with beautiful plants. The rooms are average nothing elaborate, but having a balcony was really nice. To operate safe, you will need to pay 18€ for a week or 3€ a day. Well worth it for a piece of mind. The beds and pillows are okay. To me they felt like two steps up from a pull out sofa mattress (in my opinion). Could be different in a suite. Pool: Sun beds and pool were wonderful. Happy hour from 4-5 at the bar. You can rent large towels from the front desk for a deposit of 10€ a piece. There is a 2.50€ fee for a clean replacement. Food: Breakfast was good. Dinner another story. Theme night was not like their commercials. If you are a foodie, I do not recommend. Not included are drinks including water. Definitely not a renowned French chef. French fries, onion rings, broccoli, cauliflower, cheeses, same salads or make your own. Show casing was a joke. Two proteins offered a night. Fish, hamburger, pork offered nothing else on plate.
