"Very beautiful place. Also pretty quiet except one weekend nights when locals showed up. Very good amenities. The Italian chef made the only memorable food we had in Samana. The only problems where: you had to pay for cleaning everyone, not enough shampoo etc and the check-in was pretty awkward."

"The view is amazing! Overlooking the bay we could clearly see whales everyday just off shore. The unit is spacious with a beautiful full length deck. Located about 15 minutes from Samana the property itself (Vista Mare) is very nice and well maintained with 2 fabulous beaches, 2 infinity pools and a very good restaurant. "We loved the location, it was very central to get to different towns and beaches. Got pretty much every day mango's from the property and coconuts. The grounds were beautiful, pool and beach really nice. Condo itself is really nice with great view. We hung out a lot on the balcony. We'll definitely will be back."

"We just spent two nights, but overall everything was amazing. The place same as in the pictures, place was clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a person watching the property even tho is safe becuase is inside a resort. I definitely would come back."

"We had a great time at Bahia Principe Grand Samana. We liked that the resort is small and intimate, food was decent for an all-inclusive and staff was friendly. Resort is a bit old but well maintained and clean overall. On the other end, we found the beach being rather small, not enough chairs and palapas for all guests, and very close to the road causing noise. We would return and recommend to friends and family looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation."

"I have traveled quite a bit in my life but never to do an all inclusive. That said I have been to a lot of high end hotels and for the cost/value was one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the caring staff to the stunning beach to the fine food and drink to the amenities/classes you will not be disappointed. Four nights is plenty but could easily enjoy this place for a week.Truly fantastic. The only challenge (not hotel issue) is that for us coming from NYC we have drive 2.5 hours across DR (flew into Santo Domingo) but certain cities do fly direct to Samana. Go here its FABULOUS!"

"I love this hotel. I intended to stay for six days, but a single overnight convinced me to book another four days. That morning, I walked up to Zeida at the desk and said, "The sky is too pink, the sand too soft, the ocean too relaxing, the view too spectacular." What I didn't know then but do now is that the employees are exemplary- every single one. By the way, the nightly cost here provides a nice hotel in Boston without the sea of people catering to your every need. Meals here are cheaper than local restaurants. A long list of now friendly faces - I've forgotten too many names - including Braulio, Eddie, Wendy, Sonia, Vani, Saltares, and Kevin - all a tribute to the person in charge of hiring. I'll be back. "
