"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"Had to stay here as changed dates for skiing holiday. While this hotel has shuttle buses to the ski fields it is quite some distance and not ideal. Bought breakfast and dinner package- for four days it is monotonous and not great. "The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Ibsen was well equipped and clean. I liked the indoor and outdoor options. Food was amazing. I would recommend adding the half board to your reservation. Transportation to station and ski resort was seamless. "

"Great for our overnight before taking the Alpine route. Can’t say enough about how helpful the staff was. Luggable forwarding drop off for the alpine route is in the hotel lobby which was great! The hotel is very conveniently located across from the train station and the bus that takes you to the beginning of the route. Would recommend to anyone who is taking the route!"
