Our stay at Thyme.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin, surrounded by its cozy charm and the delightful mini farm. Honey the goat was an absolute sweetheart! We thoroughly enjoyed collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast, and the llamas were utterly adorable. One area for improvement would be the outdoor lighting at the cabin, as it was quite dark when we returned at night and I had to rely on my phone's flashlight to see. Additionally, the jacuzzi's proximity to the woods made me a bit uneasy, especially after spotting a bear crossing the path. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Mountain Escape
Cabin Thyme is enchanting! It is exactly as you see in the pictures…small but expertly appointed. We stayed for three nights and cooked some serious meals while there. With a few creative solutions, we had no issues preparing our food. The farm on the property is a short walk away and the animals were friendly and amazingly tended. There was fresh hay for us to feed them with every day and the fresh chicken eggs were unbelievably delicious! We ate them each morning and restocked in the afternoon. The cabin is close to so many things. It is a short 10 minute drive to the local Ingles ( and a valued customer card is provided). We hiked and biked at nearby sites not more than a 20-30 minute drive from the property. Our favorite memory is the tranquility that Cabin Thyme affords. It is tucked back into the mountain and watching the fire flies each night by the fire pit was enchanting.

We were on a quick trip from PA to AR. This cabin provided the perfect respite for my friend and FURson. The owners were most accommodating and the cabin was quite tranquil.

Peaceful
The cabin was peaceful. The cabin was clean except for the not in use fireplace smell ended up attaching to everything we brought inside - clothes, luggage, etc. We did not use the fireplace or jacuzzi. We do not recommend having a motorcycle for this location as it is not safe to enter main road due to incline. We did get to see a bear ❤️

Cute one room cabin with all of the amenities. The area was very quiet and a short 20 min drive to town. We enjoyed the hot tub and farm animals close by.

Hot tubs, and goats, and bears -- oh my!
Rustic with just enough modern touches! Enjoyed meeting the goats, chickens, and Pearson the Llama! (Don't sleep on the fresh eggs, they're great.) Enjoyed a fire while sitting on the porch watching a storm blow in, and sitting in the hot tub after hiking the very challenging Ridgeline Trail (if you go, it's fun but tough -- and it will drop you off in the neighbor's yard, but they seemed unbothered). We did see a bear on the trails. We skedaddled pretty promptly. But it's not hype, they're really out there. Be bear aware!

Great cabin in the woods!
Spent 2 nights here with our 2 small dogs. Great location. Close to Highland Brewing, which we loved. Had 2 great meals at Copper Crown and East Village Grille (casual). Pack’s Tavern in town is fun too. Plenty of hiking trails around. Nice fire pit in the back of cabin, where we saw a bear! Would return. Great hosts.

The stay was great. It rained so most our plans were cancelled so we spent most of our time in the cabin unplugged and playing games. Very peaceful and perfect. Even our pup was cozy and satisfied.

Close and Far Away
My wife and I took a long weekend for her 50th birthday. We toured the Biltmore, shopped the Village and enjoyed the River Arts District. The cabin was a short drive to everything but when we drove down the driveway, the world seemed far away. This place provides a great balance of proximity to things and privacy. We were very pleased and will return again.
