The stay was great and so was the view overall it was great place to stay and everything is within walking distance. However when we went to use the bathtub to take a shower there sewage backed up that came spewing out all over the tub, thankfully we were given a new room with no questions asked. We have stayed at the Renaissance periodically over the past 20 years. My husband and I were both struck by the property’s overall condition - particularly the guest rooms. We love the location but found ourselves looking for alternatives for our next stay. Asheville has been through a rough time, but the hotel guest rooms are in dire need of an upgrade.
