Waters' Edge Cabin-listen to the river! Trout Fishing Hiking WiFi

NOTE: We were very fortunate that we suffered no damage from Helene.

Please note that there are two exterior ring video devices- one is located next to front door entryway and one is located above the driveway for security purposes.

Custom luxury home nestled in a National Park-like setting. Perched next to the Big Laurel River trout stream, the home has views of the stream from most all of the many windows. Listen to the stream rushing by. Mostly private setting near the end of the road; you can see one other home but its down a ways. Gated community that is like having a park almost to yourself, there are only 20 or so homes within about 300 acres. A short hike up the mountain provides awe-inspiring mountain views. Seven miles to the quaint village of Hot Springs and the infamous natural mineral springs for soaking in, along Spring Creek and the French Broad River for rafting and kayaking. The Appalachian Trail goes through Hot Springs and the ridgeline of the AT can be viewed within the community. Come and visit the Blue Ridge Mountains at their finest; turkey, bear, bobcat, deer, raccoon, hawks, eagles, and owls share the neighborhood. The area is famous for its hiking, fishing and water sports. Relax, enjoy nature, breathe the fresh air, sit by the mtn. stream, hike through the National Forest, fish the stream, raft the French Broad River, and rejuvenate in the Hot Springs at the Hot Springs Spa.

Keywords: Luxury Cabin on the Big Laurel trout stream, private, peaceful, gated community; near Hot Springs, the Appalachian Trail, NC Scenic Roads, Rafting, Kayaking, Pisgah National Forest, and only natural hot springs mineral spa in NC.

Paradise!
This house is so amazing with its rustic interior, but the river/creek was very special with its rushing sound over the rocks! It could be seen and heard throughout the house. It is so private and peaceful! There were other homes to see walking, which was nice not to be so isolated. We were entertained by the bullfrogs in the pond with the lily pads. We saw a couple of blue herons, which was exciting! It was wonderful to have all the linens and other necessities provided. My husband and I hope to go back since we have family that live in that area.

Phenomenal for distancing and relaxing
Cant say enough about the location and the cabin. I wanted something "away from people" for my birthday, and this was exactly it! Close enough to civilization with great wi-fi, but also felt isolated. The sound of the stream 24/7 was amazing. 11/10 -- definitely coming back. Will try to post video if I can figure out how.

Enjoyed our stay, visited Hot Sprogs to get the warm mineral springs. Please reserve in advance, was great. I am going thru chemo and immunized the mineral bath was extremely smoothing to my skin not I want to convert my hot tub/spa Great little restaurant in Marshall, was an old Texaco gas station with old Yellow cab out front. Only downside was The water filter needed to be changed. Strong odor from the well Water.

Beautiful Cabin
My dog my dad 76 and I 31 wanted a nice get away to the mountains. We live 10min from the ocean in Maryland so mountains just amaze us. This place was perfect. We enjoyed listening to the river, we visited many waterfalls , Asheville, went to Gatlingburg and explored all around the surroundings area. Thank you for allowing my dad and I to spend some quality time together.

Water's edge cabin is just that on the waters edge. The place for the first coffee in the morning and a sundowner in the evening. Busy days in the mounatins, trails and rivers capped on either side by the river and a beautiful well equipped home.

Amazing Experience
The house was immaculate and fully stocked with anything we needed. We appreciated having our dog and she loved hanging out on the screened in porch. My husband regretted not bringing his fly fishing equipment as the river was right in front of the property. The house is 15 minutes from Hot Springs and we enjoyed our visit there. We also hiked Max Patch which was as beautiful as we expected. We will definitely be back!
