Lasarte-Oria is not a tourist Mecca but San Sebastián isn’t too far away and taking the train is the best way to get there. "Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Very friendly staff and a good size room great views across the city and comfortable bedding. Whilst we really enjoyed in-house breakfast, our only criticism was the room service menu. Quality of the food was disappointing considering how great the food of San Sebastián is. In particular the pasta was very bland and overcooked. Strongly advise going out for food at night. It wasn’t a big deal to us we just went out and chose something else - we tried in house menu twice but the pizza was also disappointing. This is the only thing I felt needed improvement. Will stay here again next time, without question. "

"Our stay in Axel Hotel San Sebastián was great! The hotel is located in a quiet area closeby to many cafes and shops and at short walking distance to the beach. The hotel's premises were clean and modern, and we had a spacious and comfortable room. We loved the spa access included during our stay, which was an amazing added value to our holidays.
