"Great stay right at the sea’s doorstep. Our trip was focused on The Goonies sites and so our room right at Haystack Rock was perfect. Only a short drive to Astoria where we completed the rest of our Goonies site seeing and exploring the cute and fun town Astoria was. We enjoyed Cannon Beach for the beach of course as well as the local breweries. Our room was perfect for the two of us and very comfortable, enjoyable and peaceful. We did not use the amenities of the pool but from a glance, it seemed like a great addition to have for those who made time for it. "

"Absolute treat staying at Surfsand!! The staff is beyond amazing and the location is breath taking. "

"Front desk was amazing, room was beautiful and clean with the view of the bay. Loved the glass coffee mugs! The only down fall was the floor. There must have been water damage or something because there was a part that sunk down by the bed. We are sorry we missed the salmon chowder. Hopefully next time we can enjoy it! The breakfast was very good!"

"Good location within 5 -10 minute walk of beach and primary shopping area. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was provided but very basic. Overall a very pleasant 4 day stay and we would definitely go back again. "
