"I am disappointed at the quality of this hotel used by hotels.com. The room I was given was filthy and looked like it was still under construction. There were 35 steps to reach the receptio. Not suitable for elderly or disabled. Only have of the bathroom was tiled rest was bare cement. Carpet was filthy. Mini bar / fridge rusted inside. Dust everywhere. On thing good was the bed was clean and comfortable."

"The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is excellent for visitors as it is near the bazar quarter(10 minutes walk) the coast (20 minute walking) an kültürpark and its museums (5 minutes). Metro is not far away either. The cons were the cleanliness of the hotel, which was far from satisfactory, and the fact that there is no parking, despite hotel’s claims that it has free parking. We had to leave our car in the streets near the hotel. "

"The location is near the train station Hilal it is very easy to catch it if you arrive to the airport just 8TRY per person rather than taking a taxi which will cost you around 160 TRY make sure to download maps.me and you will easily arrive... Mr Mehmet was very helpful explaining which places we can visit every day greeting us and taking care of our stay there... The best thing you can do is pay for the card which will allow you to go everywhere including Ferry to Bostanli etc... It's walkable...

Other than the city tour in Izmir, we also like the friendly neighborhood like the 24hrs bread shop, Turkish restaurants. "We travelled from Fethiye and stayed here for 5 nights, it is situated between and within easy walking distance of Basmane and Kemer railway stations (so if you can, get yourself an Izmir transport card, as there is a Metro and lots of buses available too). It is also ideal for walking to many local attractions such as the Agora, Kültürpark, Kemeraltı bazaar, Saat Kulesi and the Kordon. Breakfast was great for us, cheese, meat, olives, bread. jams, eggs, pastries, cereal, tea, coffee and juice. We stayed to see the sights having not stayed in İzmir before and also to see two football matches. The English speaking gentleman on reception was very helpful on arrival of where we could eat nearby and also helped us to get where we needed to be for our first match."
