I had to work online but could not connect to the internet,I had to use my hotspot. We had a roach in our room and there was a single lamp for light which made the room very dim. We arrived at 6pm and left around 11pm later that night to go to another hotel.

The property was in very poor condition, very dirty and dark. There appeared to be homeless persons sleeping in the hallway. I did not feel comfortable or safe at all.

There were homeless people WITH SHOPPING CARTS inside the 3rd floor of the building laying in the floor - when we opened the door to our room, a man rushed in behind us and grabbed a big backpack that was in our room - and literally ran past us and down the hall while we yelled hey what’s going on - how did he have access to the room we were checking in to? When we turned the lights on, roaches scattered thru the bathroom and the area by the bed. Neither bed had any blankets. There are several men standing inside the 3rd floor corridor smoking, walking around with backpacks. There’s no outside access to the rooms, everything is enclosed and interior - but apparently there’s no security to keep out the people that don’t belong and they’re all over the inside halls just hanging out.

This place looked like crap when we arrived I left that same night false advertisement and roaches and urine was everywhere very trashy

When we arrived at the property, it was nothing like the photos online. The picture appear to ne atleast ten years old and the property does not appear to have been updated or well maintained since. When we walked into the lobby, it reeked of weed and cigarettes. Upon entering our room, we noticed that the drywall ceiling was flaking and coming off, the walls had multiple nail holes and was incompletely painted, the bathroom ceiling had visible patch work that had not been painted, and the safety latch for the door was missing hardware. The room was uncomfortably hot when we arrived and when we tried to turn on the ac unit it did not turn on. I went to the desk to ask about it and the manager brought a pencil and manually turned the motor to get it started. After noticing all of these issues, i asked the manager if there was anyway we could check out and get a refund. He said it would not be a problem. If this hotel was priced lower, it would have been expected. However, there is a certain expectation that comes with paying nearly $100 a night for a hotel. Overall the staff was very polite and accommodating. My main concern was the condition of the property. I believe with a good renovation, it could live up to its full potential.
