"We had a wonderful retreat into the heart of Germany at Imhaus Gaden. . The cottage is even better than the pictures, the decor is lovely. The town is very small but worth the drive, and a small town or two with stores are close by. Its a perfect place for a family retreat since it sleeps many. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the Imhaus."

"Incredibly room with living area and kitchen, everything is needed for a long stay. Every detail is thought about. It is quiet, sheets are very clean, smells nice. There’s soap and shower gel in the bathroom. There are plates available in the kitchen and even two bottles of water provided. The only couple things that could make a stay better is air conditioning, parking and check in process. "Das Haus ist zwar etwas kleiner, dafür sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es erinnert an ein kleines Hexenhaus. Die Betten sind super bequem und die Lage direkt am Wasser sehr entspannend. Die Mückennetze an den Fenstern hielten die zahlreichen Mücken draußen und im Garten sitzt man entspannt unter dem Pavillion. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war zu jeder Zeit unkompliziert, schnell und respektvoll. Unsere Hunde durften mit, was ja nicht überall gerne gesehen ist."

"We just stayed here for a week,lovely spot! Food was great. Service was good. Here are the only downfalls (but none ruined our time), these are just heads up for others: It is definitely out of the way, you need a car. We paid between 15-20 euro each way for a cab to the train station or town. The rooms are warm, no a/c and if we left patio door open, we got mosquitoes (and a couple wasps). BUT the rooms are lovely! Breakfast was good, you had to pre book it. A little on the pricey side especially if you weren’t overly hungry, you still paid the 15 euro. One morning my husband had only coffee and one egg, but everything was fresh, amazing scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and breads. It was good for sure, if you were hungry. We did miss the convenience of having a coffee maker and fridge in our room, especially staying for a week, just 2 coffee in the morning if we skipped breakfast was almost 7 euro. We have no regrets booking this place just should have done a little more research. "
