"This is a fun place to stay with all of the animals and the hosts were very gracious. The inside of the house was very nice, clean and organized. While the birds are part of the fun, they do naturally make a mess outside. The hosts do their best to keep it clean, but you do need to watch where you step or sit. That was really the only drawback of the animals, but I still feel that they overall enhanced the fun of our stay. "

The children and a teenager had so much fun playing ping pong, chess, and checkers, Also a wonderful place this time of year for leaf hunting and discussions with young school age children. Only a slight problem at check-in with number code device, but that problem was overcome quickly, and the host was.helpful and available by phone. "The staff were exceptionally cordial and helpful. Whenever we passed through the lobby they always said hello and asked if they could do anything like extra towels etc. Lisa and Cameron were especially kind and efficient. We usually stay at another hotel chain but will definitely stay here should we come back "

Great place to stay

"Both our check-in and checkout staff were really great and helpful. I had to recommendations to go with our rating. I needed an accessible room because I have low back pain and breathing issues and this was easily accommodated. My back pain was a problem getting in the bed though because it was rather tall and I’m only 5’3”. It would be helpful to have some sort of stepstool. Our only other thing to point out Was the need to be able to drive all the way around the building. We were pulling a trailer and didn’t know we couldn’t go all the way around so after we checked in, we had to back out and park on the road."
