"The property is down a lane in a very rural location about 2Kms outside Rance and it is about as tranquil and relaxing as you could imagine with just the distant baa ing of the sheep for company. The bedrooms and bathroom and toilet are downstairs with the living accommodation and patio upstairs which works very well. We absolutely loved it and were blessed with fine weather. To note the downstairs toilet is very compact."

"Das Haus ist schätzungsweise um 1900 gebaut worden und mit vielen schönen Details liebevoll und geschmackvoll restauriert worden, ohne dass man auf moderne Annehmlichkeiten verzichten muss. Wir haben Ruhe gesucht in schöner Umgebung. Beides haben wir gefunden. Revin ist ideal gelegen, um die französischen Ardennen wandernd, per Fahrrad, mit dem Zug (Bahnhof nur 10 Minuten Fußweg) oder mit dem Auto kennenzulernen. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin."

"The chalet was clean, although small, there was sufficient space for our motorcycle gear and space outside to leave luggage. The area around the lake is good for walking and due to it being end of season, very quiet throughout the day and night. The breakfast service was poor and does not represent good value. The first day there were no bowls for creals and no clean tea mugs. On the second day we were the only two diners. The cleaners were in the room drinking coffee when we arrived so there was not enough coffee left. I asked for more, they gave us a flask, locked the service room and left. They hadn't made more coffee but simply topped up the flask with water so the last bit we had was undrinkable. We then realised they had locked away the breads and croissants, leaving us nothing to eat. I told the office about this and as we had only eaten half a breakfast I asked for a refund of one but this was refused. We had a long ride that day and wanted a good start to the day, not to pay for the cleaners' breakfast. Overall the stay was good and I recommend it to others but advise against having the breakfast. "
