Inside you will also find a cloakroom, kitchen with breakfast table, utility, office, dining room and a sitting room with open fire. To the outside is off-road parking, and two acres of landscape lawned gardens. Located amidst breath-taking surroundings, Derrywater House is a characterful retreat in an excellent part of Ireland.

It is definitely worth a visit, with a selection of local pubs and restaurants, and landmarks such as the Old Mill and the local Catholic and Church of Ireland churches. There is a pleasant 4km riverside and woodland walk starting at Tinnakilly Bridge following the Ballycreen Brook from Aughrim village deep into the Tinnakilly Woods.
