"I enjoyed my stay. It was a perfect room with a balcony overlooking a small square with restaurants. It was pretty lively till early morning, but was not really disturbed in the room. The owner told me about the fish restaurant downstairs, so i tried it. I got the fish and chips. Very different from the British version as it was nit battered. But, it was some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Really appreciate talking to the owner. Very enjoyable stay. "

"We stayed in the Cutelli Suite, it was nice as pictured. Very close to most of the attractions in Catania. Most of them less than a 10 to 15 minute walk. Also plenty of restaurants the same distance. The staff was very nice and helpful."

"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our AC seems to not work correctly.. so we got super hot at night..we stayed only one night so we just...

"This B&B is lovely and the host was excellent and very helpful. Be aware that access is on the side of the building adjacent to a parking lot through 2 locked metal gates and you must be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs as the elevator starts on floor 1. "We arrived at about 3pm and searched for about 10 minutes to find our hotel. Luckily we spotted a small sign in front of a locked door. We needed to phone the owner for access. The hotel was 4 flights up the stairs but the room itself was nice. The hotel was very close to the plaza with lots of restaurants and shops available. "Very good host, who waited for us at the door, and helped us to secure a free parking slot. The room is specious and elegant. We really like the location, where is pretty much walking distance to every attraction. If the breakfast can upgraded a little bit, it would be perfect 5 star B&B. "Emanuella was extremely helpful. Before we arrrived she sent me multiple what’s app notices on parking information and for our arrival. She was very nice and very helpful even with the dinner suggestions. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Close to all the sites. Would recommend it to everyone who is coming to Siracusa. "

"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. Loved it!

"Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. We are good walkers and could walk to all parts of Ortigia, the island you want to stay on, and be there within 15 minutes. We had a junior suite that was large with several separate areas. Full service breakfast was good, not great. Bed was very big but not the most comfortable Despite these minor things, all four of us loved the hotel and location "

"The staff were wonderful. Check in and out was quick and easy. We had maintenance people come quickly for a problem with our refrigerator and toilet. The breakfast was outstanding. The lobby is beautiful. The property is a bit aged and needs some updating. "

"We loved our 2-night stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Politi in Syracuse! The property is very historic, having been established in 1862, and it is literally built adjacent to one of the archeological sites that Syracuse is known for. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, the Winston Churchill Bar was charming (and they have a daily happy hour with complimentary appetizers), and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of choices. There's a large, very well-maintained outdoor pool and deck area, which was a highlight of my visit. The room was very comfortable and well appointed in terms of linens, a refrigerator/mini bar, plenty of electrical outlets, and a functional window. I wish there had been conditioner in the shower, along with shampoo and body wash, but other than that, our stay was excellent."
