EVERY hotel needs a Thomas!! He was absolutely amazing! You are blessed to have him. The lobby is so beautiful and calming. Fabulous decor. Restaurant on site, SUPER clean and cozy rooms, just perfect!!

My ideas are picky! Truley a GREAT PLACE! I did not care for the big mirror in the bathroom that was across from the toilet. Watching myself is not my thing. The toilet in the handicapped room could be the next size up.it is called a comfort toilet, about 3" higher. The bar menu could use a real green salad but that balsamic glaze is unreal! Yum. The card in the room promised prices if I used the QR code. No prices could be found. Somehow,I got the impression the pool was indoor...heated...wheelchair accessible..so nope! 😁 Keep it up. See ya next time.

Unique are the owners and the staff. The owners work along side of the friendly hard working staff. The Maine Evergreen Hotel is filled with great friendly and helpful staff and owners.The hotel is very clean and the service is outstanding. The best place to stay in the area. This is a beautiful, well maintained hotel with extremely friendly and caring staff. I would definitely recommend this location of this lodging chain. Was extremely disappointed in another Ascend hotel located in South Portland.

Nice stay
Rooms and common space are in excellent condition. Beds were fairly comfortable. Entering our room at the end of the building on 2nd floor was a bit inconvenient with outside passage through two fire doors; this wasn’t a big deal for us, but if mobility is an issue, keep that in mind when checking in. Also, I would ask to stay on the no -pool side to help cut down on traffic noise from the interstate.
