"Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again."

A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. "Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep."

"We had a great time and location was wonderful. couple of things... We had no bin liners to empty rubbish into and in other places I have stayed they had been provided. Cool on an evening could not work heating system. We fixed kitchen cupboard door and gate. (lose on hinges) Shower very small "

"We enjoyed the stay very much. A beautiful property with a small river and lots of wildlife. Just the thing for nature lovers. The kitchen was well equipped, so self-catering was easy."

The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age."
