Great hotel/restaurant and fab bedroom One downside the toilet cistern wouldn’t stop all night!!😢 also horrid smell from the loo.. (reported to receptionist- didn’t seem to concerned! Also €25 for a buffet breakfast was a tap expensive

Sea view was marginal, reread the literature and you need the "panoramic view". Our view was between two buildings....... Otherwise it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and great food. Note that mobile internet signal was poor and the WiFi was next to useless, apparently it was the weather....... Overall, poor late check-in experience, with staff expecting us to find a building 300m away and go to 2nd floor looking for a room, ourselves, until I demanded someone show us to the room. The room was only occupied room in an otherwise empty property, with run-down and old apartment, fixtures and fittings. security door was also not working properly and held open with a bar. Staff were not responsive during the restaurant, with expansive French food, with little/no choice for vegetarian options, save for a Thai dish. Breakfast was also expansive, but location was good (on cliff to English Channel) and about 70miles from Calais.

Très décevant
Alors que nous nous attendions à un séjour agréable, au vu des commentaires très positifs, il a été au final très décevant. Arrivées à la réception nous sommes accueillies par une jeune femme très sympathique, qui un peu désemparée, s'excuse car elle n'est là que depuis 1 semaine. En effet, un mot avait été laissé pour nous changer de chambre ainsi que nous faire payer le séjour dès l'arrivée (au lieu de la fin) : évidemment, elle ne savait pas comme s'y prendre. Nous avions spécifié une chambre avec vue sur mer, mais nous avons été déplacées dans une chambre dans un bâtiment en forêt. Cette nouvelle chambre, pas aérée depuis longtemps, était très mal éclairée : car composée d'une seule fenêtre ... donnant sur la forêt. Le froid humide de la chambre a été impossible à faire partir et nous a menés toutes à un rhume. Le bain "jacuzzi" dont nous avions si hâte a été également décevant, car non seulement il n'y avait pas de savon prévu, mais dès son activation, une odeur d'égout s'en est échappé. Je pourrai également continuer et écrire sur les saletés trouvées sous les lits, mais nous avions déjà compris qu'à part les lits préparés, le ménage n'avait pas été fait, et personne n'était venu dans cette chambre depuis quelque temps ... Point positif : le restaurant. Le chef est excellent et se donne de la peine pour la présentation. Point négatif : suite à cette déception, nous avons carrément mis fin à nos vacances et nous sommes rentrées chez nous.
