"This house was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. It had plenty of space and was recently renovated and well-stocked. The desks in the bedrooms came in handy as I had to work part of the time. The lakefront area is so nice. The Drinking Water system was a huge plus for us. We have one at home and usually make trips to the store to buy water when we are on vacation. No need for bottled water if you are staying at this property. Owners were very easy to work with as I had questions...

"A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. "I've stayed in quite a few rentals and this was by far the best. Exactly what you would want for a mountain getaway in the winter. We were were lucky enough to have stayed during a snow storm - which made this place look and feel like the location of one of my wife's Christmas hallmark movies.
