It's on a quiet street with a supermarket 5 minutes walk away, 5 minutes to the station and to the city centre. There is plenty of space for baggage! "We loved everything about this property. The owners were the ultimate hosts, providing information on the property and the area, bringing fresh bread, butter and jam daily. The pool and horse pastures were favorites for the kids. Staying in a chateau was the highlight for the adults. The home was well appointed and immaculately clean. "Absolutely loved our stay here and cannot more highly recommend. No reception with a check-in only on your phone and no room keys was delightful and easy. Super easy check-out too just on your phone. Beautiful little French breakfast offered and a stunning terrace with views of the city and theatre. We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"This is a unique property, with a kind and accommodation host who was keen to share the history and personal connection with the area. Our hosts gave us great guidance on where to visit! "The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside.
