"This beautiful property maintains its historic charms and the location can’t be beat. The staff is very accommodating and treats the guests with utmost respect. The furnishings need some good cleaning but of course they are trying to keep the old world style which can be a challenge. Breakfast was lovely and the bar service was top notch. Expensive but worth the splurge."

"Peaceful and quiet respite just one side street away from a main action filled street. Conveniently located a few short blocks from the Avignon Centre SNCF station—we dropped our bags and explored! Great hotel that we will return to. My only complaint- the shower pressure was meh. "

"The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Bed, pillows and quilts were comfortable and the extra fleece blanket kept me warm through the winter nights without having to turn on the heaters. Shower space was a bit small, but individual hot water tank for the room gave a steady flow of hot water. Enjoyable stay overall with the basic kitchen in my queen studio."

"It’s clearly an older building but refurbished. The room is okay. Beds are very comfortable. A drinking water machine is placed outside next to the elevator, which is very good when the tapwater taste metallic. The water pressure is fine, however, the shower is quite slow; it takes a long while to wash off the soap. The location could not be better, when it is right next to the Palace. "
