"Staff at Palacio de Valderrabanos was great as they were very helpful even as we made our check-in an hour after new years. The property is amazing and with a very rich history, so very recommendable to stay. Parking was not that close and was not part of the hotel, but is understandable in such a historic landmark. Extremely recommended."

"The hotel itself was sparkling clean and a great location. I didn't find any place to control the temperature, though, and had to cycle through opening the windows (noisy) or closing them (hot), and this was in February. Also, the bed top slid off when I tried to get out of bed in the morning, and I fell on the floor. But the host was very kind, and helpful with directions."

The location cannot be more central &, though an old traditional building, it has been well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. "Property located within the walls of Avilia. Researched first on their website, http://www.hostaldondiego.es/en/don_diego_hostel. Parking under the hotel and rooms air conditioned. Booked site and sent email requesting parking. On arrival noted no catering for disability. No one at reception so had to ring external doorbell. After a while a male let us in. WARNING do not arrive in the afternoon when he is on siesta, grumpy does not cover it. No parking had been reserved and when asked...
