"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

"Lovely house in good condition with easy walk to Azay le Rideau. Very similar feedback to other reviews - noticed little things like some broken crockery and freezer door but this was no problem with spares and expected when renting a big house in summer. We were 3 families (4 children) - the kids all slept in the bunk bed room and one couple slept in the slightly separate building but this was fine. There are three bedrooms in main house close to the bunk bed room if kids are...

"Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. "Upon arrival we were warmely greeted by Jocelyne and Jean Claude who showed us around the cottage. The cottage is very nicely furnished with all you need for a relaxing vacation, It would comfortably accomodate 10 as it is very spacious, there were only 4 of us so we had plenty of space. The kitchen is well equiped with all you would need and a pleasant place to prepare your meals, There is a lovely bathroom downstairs and a second upstairs (which we never used to reduce the amount of cleaning...
