"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung und Umgebung war sehr schön. Wir haben die Natur und herrliche Atlantikluft sehr genossen. Es hat uns nur das kleine und sehr enge, offensichtlich noch nicht renovierte Bad, mit Sitzbadewanne als Dusche, in unserem "Wohlbefinden" beeinträchtigt. Allerdings war die Sicht auf den Hafen und den Atlantik einmalig schön. Es war insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt."

"Ideal from our point of view: sparkling clean with all the equipment needed (except for tea mugs). The beds were comfortable and.the shower spacious and with a good water flow. Transmission of the Vuelta and.rugby world cup cut down on the time left to make the most of a well-stocked library. We met our host briefly at the beginning of the stay. He could not have been more charming and helpful."

"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc."

"We chose this as a mid spot to access San Sebatian and Bilbao which it was good for. Lots of space but there was no wifi which came as quite a surprise. You really need a car to get anything or go anywhere. The train is right there but very long rides. Lots of windows but had to have all the blinds shut for privacy. Kitchen was missing a few important things but host was quick to help."

"If you are looking for a countryside escape that is in a beautiful area, yet not very far from the big city of Bilbao and airport, this accommodation fits the bill. The setting is lovely. These modern suites have full height windows with doors that allow an unhindered view of the beautiful forest from anywhere in the room. Electrically controlled, full window shutters are in place for those hot days. Our suite, Haritza, is very large with a super king sized bed and a huge walk-in shower. ...

"Nous avons pu profité de la piscine et du jardin. La cuisine était bien équipé et la maison accueillante. Les environs sont magnifique, des balades avec des jolis point de vue, la mer n'est pas loin et le musée de Guggenheim à Bilbao mérite une visite. "Great location for exploring the Basque Coast. Apartment is great for families...exceptionally clean with modern conveniences. Owner is responsive within minutes by phone or email, and is quite helpful with recommendations and suggestions for sightseeing, dining, etc. If we return to this area of España, we would certainly look to book this apartment again."

"We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. We enjoyed our moments together...their stories and hospitality !!"

"El apartamento es muy bonito, luminoso y limpio. Hemos estado en el muy a gusto. El pueblo y la zona nos ha encantado. Hay que tener en cuenta las cuestas y los escalones de entrada al apartamento. La entrada y la salida son autónomas pero todo funcionó muy bien y Ander estuvo pendiente."

"Das Haus ist ein Teil einer Einheit mit drei Apartments. Alles weitere ist wie angegeben. Die grosse Terasse ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man den Ausblick ungestört genießen kann. Fernando und seine Frau sind hervorragende, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswerden und ist unmittelbar im Naturschutzgebiet. Fußläufig gibt es zwei gute Restaurants (falls man nicht kochen möchte). Insbesondere Goiko Benta ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist für Fahrer von Sportwagen /...

"We were driving into Bilbao, a very busy crowded city, and were surprised to find out that this hotel does not have an unloading area. We had to unload so we stopped in front anyway and got a ticket from a policeman! I should have researched it better! At least there was an underground garage nearby about 25 euros per day. Besides the car issue the hotel is in a good location but if your room is facing the street like ours was be prepared for the loud noise outside!! I would only recommend this...
