"The staff was always cordial and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the shower was good even if it needed frequent adjustments at the beginning. The breakfast was great and varied. The location was great within the Savassi neighborhood and it allowed us to walk to many restaurants, bars and stores in the area. "

"I notified the front desk that it was a bad idea to use a fragile plate to hold soap in the bathroom close to the sink edge where it could get wet slip off, fall to the floor and break into sharp pieces that almost cut my foot. I took a picture to show the front desk during check-out. After spending four days and having accident that could have been avoided their response was to charge me a100 multa for a 10 plate that should never have been in the bathroom. I will be sure not to stay there when...

"Normandy is in the heart of centro. It's convenience is good. The property is a bit dated but the attention of staff made the stay well deserved. Front Desk was exceptional. Restaurant, housekeeping and room service was excellent. In the night its location can feel a bit deserted but is generally safe. I enjoyed my stay."
