"Excellent secluded spot outside and overlooking Cheddar, out in wide open fields within a minute and up to the gorge in about 15. Rustic, cosy little house with all the essentials and a stocked wood burner. Friendly host and dogs! Also had a small milk in the fridged stocked when we arrived which was a nice touch. 2 single beds might not be up all couples' streets, but well worth it otherwise. "

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. "Really great place to stay for large group get together, we had 6 adults and 4 kids staying at one point and it didn’t feel crowded at all! The place was really clean and the grounds and amenities were really excellent. We met one of the hosts and he was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to go for. A stay ! Lovely and quiet and a great base for day trips to cheddar, wells and only an hour or so the coast and Bristol."

They were so big and the guided tour was great. The crazy golf was also great. Wells is only a 7 min drive and it is definitely a must. All in all a great stay with great value"
