"Everything was perfect, the Lange room, comfortable beds, great location between Hbf and the center. However, the air-conditioning was not regulated, it was too hot in the room. There is no shampoo or shower gel but the hand soap(!) in the shower. The breakfast at 9:50 was empty (should be till 11:00) and was not renewed, considerable luck of the serving personal at the restaurant, actually gust one girl."

The owner (Gisele) and her daughter (Nicole) were super responsive to our questions/communications and we even returned to this property for an additional four nights during our visit to Germany. "We were disappointed with the property. Two rooms and up to seven guests does a lot of heavy lifting in the description. Our kids bedroom was also the shared dining room and lounge. There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"We had a wonderfull stay during our Christmas holiday. The house is small but has everything you would need, we also thought it was very well situated within the 'park', it was very private and beautiful looking out at the forest. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend it!"

"The staff was awesome and the location very convenient. The graphiti on the exterior building walls in the neighbourhood was a little unsettling however, the neighbourhood was very safe to walk in day or night. The the opportunity to walk to the Karlsruhe Zoo as it is well worth it."

"The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, recommending a very good Italian restaurant in the area. We didn't have the hotel's breakfast though. The hotel is very convenient for car travellers and the tram stop is only a five minute walk. Thank you - we'll be back!"
